Springdale Travel was established in May, 1978.  Corporate headquarters are located at 1087 Downtowner Boulevard. 

Springdale Travel currently employs approximately 65 people and operates two retail branch offices in Fairhope Alabama and Pensacola Florida plus four corporate on site offices each serving a single corporate customer.

In November of 2005, Springdale Travel elected to join The American Express Representative Network, and was  recipient of the 2006 and 2007 prestigious American Express Travel Representative Excellence Award.  Springdale Travel was one of only 27 members of the American Express U.S. Representative Travel Network to receive the award, which recognizes strong performance in sales and customer service.
