About our Student Groups Department

Chicago The Student Tour division of Springdale Travel was founded to make every chaperone, parent and students' (High School, Middle School & Elementary School) travel experience as rewarding and stress free as possible. Debra Smith began the division after retiring from a teaching career with Mobile County Schools. She was an active band parent for her two children and knew how trying a student trip could be for everyone involved. She took the necessary steps to become the person who handles it all for student trips.

Personal travel industry relationships are the backbone of our company. Not only do we have contracts with each of the attractions, restaurants and hotels that you will be using during your trip, we also have the personal relationships with their staff to ensure that the prices and service you receive are second to none. A successful travel experience depends on those folks, and our trust and belief in them goes without a second thought.

Senior Trips

Senior Trips When planning a senior trip, there are so many details that must be taken care of. Not only do certain resorts and cruise lines have special guidelines regarding groups of minors but also you want to ensure someone is keeping their safety top of mind. When booking your Senior Trip with Springdale Travel's Student Groups Department not only do you have the ease and convenience of a travel agent but you also have someone who knows a thing or two about the appropriate locations to send a group of High School Seniors.

We've done cruises and all-inclusive resorts; we've done small groups and large ones. And since each Senior Class wants something different, each itinerary is completely customized start to finish. Competition Trips

While we frequently plan trips for our student groups to band competitions in places like Disney, Hawaii and New York City, our Student Groups Department will occasionally host or sponsor various performance opportunities for traveling bands, dance groups and more.
